Terms of Service
ORVION is licensed software that runs on your own computer. These terms cover how it may be used, what it will and will not do on your behalf, and where responsibility sits.
Last updated 29 August 2026.
1. Agreement
These terms are between ORVION and the person or business that installs and uses the ORVION Business Operating System (“ORVION”, “the software”). By installing or using the software you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to do so.
2. Licence
Subject to these terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use ORVION for your own business purposes, on machines you control, for as long as your plan is current.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, rent or host ORVION as a service for others.
- Reverse engineer the software except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Remove or obscure any notice contained in it.
ORVION and everything in it remain the property of ORVION. Your business data does not: it is yours, it stays on your machine, and this licence gives us no claim to it.
3. What the software does, and what it will not do without you
ORVION performs authorized work inside your business: it reads what you connect, prepares analyses and drafts, and proposes actions.
Actions that reach outside ORVION and change something require your approval. Sending, publishing, posting, refunding and similar consequential actions are proposed to you, executed only if you approve them, and recorded with a receipt. This is a property of how the software is built, not a setting you have to find.
4. Your responsibilities
- Keeping your ORVION sign-in credentials secure.
- Deciding which external accounts to connect, and with what permissions.
- Reviewing what you approve. An approval is a decision, and the action that follows it is your decision.
- Using ORVION lawfully, and in line with the terms of any service you connect to it.
- Your own backups. Your data is on your machine, which means its safekeeping is in your hands.
5. Connected accounts
When you connect a third-party service, your use of that service continues to be governed by your agreement with that provider. ORVION acts within the permission you grant and no further, and you can withdraw that permission at any time by disconnecting the account here or by revoking access at the provider.
We are not responsible for a third-party service's availability, accuracy, pricing or terms.
6. Artificial intelligence, and its limits
ORVION coordinates AI to do real work, and AI output can be wrong. Analyses, drafts, summaries and recommendations are produced to be reviewed, not obeyed.
ORVION does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial or medical advice. Where the software organizes information of that kind, it does so to prepare it for a qualified person, and not to replace one.
7. Availability
ORVION runs on your machine, so its availability is a function of that machine rather than of
a service we operate. Where a feature depends on something outside your machine — a
connected provider, or the authorization service at
auth.orvionbos.com — that part depends on the availability of those
systems, and no uptime is promised for them.
8. Plans and payment
Paid plans are described on the pricing page, and the terms shown there at the time of purchase apply. If your plan lapses, features included in it stop being available; the data on your machine remains yours.
9. No warranty
The software is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes any right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ORVION is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Ending the agreement
You may stop using ORVION at any time by uninstalling it. We may end this licence if these terms are breached. When the licence ends, your right to use the software ends; the data on your machine stays where it is.
12. Changes
If these terms change, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date above. Continuing to use ORVION after that means accepting the change.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms should be raised through the account you use with ORVION.
